Festival international de danse FMK 2019 : Cinédanse 25/11/2019 | 18 h 30 - 20 h 30

The FMK International Dance Festival (10th edition) and the Institut français du Laos present a special “short dance films” night, called CINEDANSE, on Monday, 25 Nov. 2019 at the Institut français. Four short films will be screened on large screen in the gardens of the IFL, with commentary by the Kham team, and interaction with the public. An improvisation by the dancers will conclude the evening.

Les Indes Galantes, Clément Cogitore, 5’47, 2017, France. A wonderful adaptation of the opera by Jean-Philippe Rameau (XVIIIth century) by Krump French dancers.

Versus, This Von Muong Han, 13′, 2011, France/Laos. A meeting of two worlds, Africa and Asia, which rebel against each other but also club together. Shot during FMK 2011.

Naufrage, Clorinde Durand, 6′, 2008, France. Narration which freezes on a moment, Naufrage tells stories of purely physical emotion, seen in slow motion.

Nora, Alla Kovgan, David Hinton, 10′, 2008, Zimbabwe. Born in Zimbabwe, Nora travels through her childhood memories, involving a large number of dancers and local artists in a moving poem.
