In the heart of the city, a stone’s throw from Patuxay, on Lane Xang Avenue, the French Institute of Laos offers an exceptional space, providing an ideal setting for your events: seminars, conferences, business meetings, film screenings, cocktail parties, etc.
In a quiet location, surrounding a peaceful garden, several spaces can be made available to companies, associations, or individuals, who can also enjoy the Sinouk cafeteria.

Inquiry / Reservation
A fully equipped screening room with 100 seats is available for your film screenings, conferences (with the option of installing a translation system in the control room), symposiums, presentations, and artistic performances. Rental of the room with sound and/or video equipment includes the services of a technician from the French Institute (projectionist, stage manager).

Conditions : Reservations are preferred 3 weeks prior to the date of your event. Room rental is subject to availability. The French Institute reserves the right to review and refuse any rental request without providing specific reasons.
The French Institute in Laos has 17 classrooms or meeting rooms, ideal for organizing seminars with different working groups (and gatherings in the auditorium). The classrooms can accommodate 10 to 20 people and are equipped with chairs with integrated writing tablets. Each room also has a whiteboard.
Possible options:

The French Institute in Laos has five classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, video projectors, and computers. Rental of these rooms with specific equipment includes the services of the French Institute’s IT manager. Some of these rooms can accommodate up to 35 people seated in chairs equipped with tablets.
The French Institute has recently equipped a classroom or meeting room with a large-screen television and an internet connection. It can accommodate about twenty people.
The computer room is equipped with 11 workstations (Linux – Lubuntu) as well as a video projector.
The computer equipment is regularly tested; all workstations have the main office software (OpenOffice) and internet access. A Wi-Fi connection is also available.
The room is ideal for hosting your training sessions requiring computer workstations. Rental of these rooms with specific equipment includes the services of the French Institute’s IT manager.

The cafeteria is managed by the Sinouk Café chain, which owns several other restaurants in Vientiane and the provinces. It offers French, international, and Lao cuisine. The cafeteria can host your business meetings, receptions, buffets, and cocktail parties.
The cafeteria includes a sheltered outdoor terrace in the heart of the Institute’s garden.
It can accommodate 50 people seated at tables (or more with garden setup and equipment rental) and 100 people for a cocktail/buffet style reception. The cafeteria manager and their team will prepare your customized events: business breakfasts, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, etc.
Equipment can be installed on request (projector, screen), subject to availability and booking lead time.
